Eastside Water Treatment Facility Phase 1-890 Zone Booster Station

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by LS College Park, LLC, C/O Lennar Homes of California, Inc. to design a new booster station to serve the Preserve and College Park Developments in the City of Chino.  The Booster station is located in the City of Ontario, CA at the site of the Eastside Water Treatment Facility. Steven Andrews Engineering completed design drawings and specifications for a new 890 zone booster station, phase 1 of the overall project.  The design included a block building with separate electrical room, three (3) 1,750 gpm horizontal split case pumps with 125 hp electric motor, Variable Frequency Drives, an 8-inch bypass pressure relief valve assembly, a 24-inch diameter welded steel booster suction pipeline, an 18-inch welded steel discharge pipeline, piping for the 790 zone booster station installation per separate contract, a monorail assembly for removal of the 890 zone pumps, an 18-inch mag meter vault assembly with sump pumps and electrical and instrumentation, and HVAC system for the electrical room.  This work was part of the Eastside Water Treatment Facility Phase 1 project.

 

Eastside Water Treatment Facility Phase 2-790 Zone Booster Station

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by LS College Park, LLC, C/O Lennar Homes of California, Inc. to design a new booster station to serve the Preserve and College Park Developments in the City of Chino.  The Booster station is located in the City of Ontario, CA at the site of the Eastside Water Treatment Facility. Steven Andrews Engineering completed design drawings and specifications for a new 790 zone booster station, phase 2 of the overall project. The design included installing three (3) 2,000 gpm horizontal split case pumps with 100 hp electric motor, Variable Frequency Drives, an 8-inch bypass pressure relief valve assembly installed inside the block building designed under the phase 1 booster station, and connecting to the 24-inch diameter welded steel booster suction pipeline in phase 1, an 18-inch welded steel discharge pipeline designed in phase 1, a new monorail assembly for removal of the 790 zone pumps, a 14-inch mag meter vault assembly with sump pumps and electrical and instrumentation.  This work was part of the Eastside Water Treatment Facility Phase 1 project.

Marygold Mutual Water Company Booster Station

Steven Andrew Engineering was retained by Marygold Mutual Water Company (MMWC) to prepared construction plans and specifications for the construction of a new 3,000 gpm Domestic Water Booster Station.  The project is located in the City of Bloomington, CA  at the site of their existing Reservoirs 1 and Reservoirs 2.  The design included three (3) 1,000 gpm horizontal split case end suction pumps with 50 hp variable speed motors and VFD’s, onsite back up emergency generator assembly and bypass assembly all housed outdoors adjacent to the existing well no. 6 building.
