Eastside Water Treatment Facility Phase 1 -0.5 Million Gallon Welded Steel Reservoir

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by LS College Park, LLC, C/O Lennar Homes of California, Inc. to design a new 0.5 million gallon domestic water welded steel reservoir to serve The Preserve and College Park Developments in the City of Chino, CA.  This was part of the Eastside Water Treatment Plant Phase 1 Ion Exchange Water Treatment Plant project.  The project is located in the City of Ontario, CA on the same site as the IX treatment plant.  Steven Andrews Engineering prepared construction plans and specifications for a 64 foot diameter x 27 foot tall welded steel tank with a knuckle roof design, 24 inch diameter inlet and outlet piping, site grading and a mural design.    This welded steel tank was awarded the 2015 Tank of the Year Award along with the 4 MG gallon tank adjacent to it by Steel Tank Institute and Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA)

Eastside Water Treatment Facility Phase 2 -4 Million Gallon Welded Steel Reservoir

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by Watson Land Company to design a new four (4) million gallon domestic water welded steel reservoir to serve The Preserve and College Park Developments in the City of Chino, CA.  This was part of the Eastside Water Treatment Plant Phase 1 Ion Exchange Water Treatment Plant project.  The project is located in the City of Ontario, CA on the same site as the IX treatment plant.  Steven Andrews Engineering prepared construction plans and specifications for a 170 foot diameter x 27 foot tall welded steel tank, site grading, 24 inch inlet and outlet piping, and a mural design.    This welded steel tank was awarded the 2015 Tank of the Year Award along with the 500,000 gallon tank adjacent to it by Steel Tank Institute and Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA) and it was the runner up to 2016 tank of the year by Tnemec.

Marygold Mutual Water Company -2 Million Gallon Welded Steel Reservoir No. 1

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by Marygold Mutual Water Company (MMWC) to design a two (2) million gallon domestic water welded steel reservoir to serve their customers.  The tank is located in the City of Bloomington, CA on a parcel adjacent to the office of MMWC.  SAE prepared construction plans and specifications for a 108 foot diameter x 30 foot tall welded steel tank with a Knuckle roof design.  SAE worked with the Health Department to obtain the necessary permits on behalf of the client.  SAE is the District Engineer for MMWC.

Marygold Mutual Water Company -2 Million Gallon Welded Steel Reservoir No. 2

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by Marygold Mutual Water Company (MMWC) a returning client to design a second two (2) million gallon domestic water welded steel reservoir on the same site as their existing reservoir no. 1 to provide additional storage and meet additional demand required by the Kaiser Hospital expansion.  SAE prepared construction plans and specifications for the second reservoir of the same diameter and height as reservoir no. 1 and assisted with the permitting process with the Health Department.
