Fire Hydrant Analysis for US Veterans Village

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by Urban Resource Consulting Civil Engineers to reviewed available on-site and adjacent off-site existing domestic water system information including recent fire flow tests and prepare a hydraulic analysis.  The project was located in the City of Moreno Valley, CA per the Riverside County Fire Department requirements.  Steven Andrews Engineering prepared the hydraulic models based on adjacent existing domestic water system and proposed fire service system to serve existing on-site fire hydrant.  Steven Andrews Engineering conducted computer model hydraulic network analysis and study to determine new domestic water pipe sizing for the US Veterans Facility and meet a 2,250 gpm fire flow requirement at the proposed on-site fire hydrant. A letter report was prepared outlining the major results of study and analysis.

Hydraulic Analysis for Water Services for Gateway II Apartments

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by Urban Resource Consulting Civil Engineers to review available on-site and adjacent off-site existing domestic water system information including recent fire flow tests.  The project was located in the City of Anaheim, CA.  Steven Andrews Engineering prepared a hydraulic network analysis and study to determine the available pressure at each buildings fire sprinkler point of connection and the proposed fire hydrants with in the Gateway II Apartment Complex with a fire flow demand of 4,000 gpm.  The Hydraulic Analysis was based on adjacent existing domestic water system and proposed fire service system to serve the new on-site fire hydrant and fire sprinkler system. .  A letter report was prepared outlining the major results of study and analysis.

Water Demand Analysis for Proposed Industrial Project

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by Lewis Management Corporation to prepared a technical memorandum analyzing the water demands for a proposed industrial project.  The project was located in the City of Ontario, CA.  The project was entitled for up to 1,400,000 square feet of high cube warehouse/distribution industrial uses in multiple buildings in a 62 acres area.  A total of 450 employees with a 20 gallon per day usage were used to determine the annual water demand for the project.    The City of Ontario 2010 General Plan was used in the analysis and a letter report prepared.

Fire Sprinkler and Fire Hydrant Analysis for Boardwalk Apartments

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by Urban Resource Consulting Civil Engineers to reviewed available on-site and adjacent off-site existing domestic water system information including recent fire flow tests and prepare a Hydraulic Analysis.  The project was located in Huntington Beach, CA and property belonged to Sares-Regis Group.    Steven Andrews Engineering conducted computer model hydraulic network analysis and study to determine the available pressure at each buildings fire sprinkler point of connection and the proposed fire hydrants with in the Boardwalk Apartment Complex with a fire flow demand of 1,500 gpm.  The Hydraulic models were prepared based on adjacent existing domestic water system and proposed fire service system to serve the new on-site fire hydrant and fire sprinkler system.   A letter report was prepared outlining the major results of study and analysis.

Sewer System Hydraulic Analysis for Sares-Regis Group Boardwalk Apartments

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by Urban Resource Consulting Civil Engineers to prepared a sewer system capacity study to determine the anticipated wastewater flow demands produced by the Boardwalk Apartment Development in the City of Huntington Beach, CA and if they would impact the existing City of Huntington Beach sewer system.  Steven Andrews Engineering coordinated with the City and ADS to obtain field flow measurements of the existing City sewer system flows within the vicinity of the project to determine if there was any extra capacity or deficiencies in the existing system with the addition of the Boardwalk Apartment Development wastewater flows.  A letter report outlining the results was prepared.

Sewer System Hydraulic Analysis for Huntington Beach Hoag Health Center Expansion CUP No. 08-015

Steven Andrews Engineering was retained by Urban Resource Consulting Civil Engineers to prepared an engineering study and performed a hydraulic analysis to evaluate the existing City of Huntington Beach sewer system.  The limits of the analysis where from the Beach Blvd. and Utica Street sewer connection to OCSD trunk sewer on Delaware Street.  The services of sewer flow monitoring company ADS were obtained to get actual sewer flow data to be used in the study.  The sewer system analysis was performed to determine if the additional flows from the Hoag Health Center Expansion would trigger any deficiencies in the exiting City of Huntington Beach Sewer System that were identified in the City of Huntington Beach’s Beach-Edinger Corridor Specific Plan.
